Preferred Media Formats for the transfer of Drawing Files

PHASA prefers CAD data to be supplied as either:

File Type

Preferred Option 1

Parasolid (*.x_t;*.x_b;

*.xmt_text*.xmt_bin)

STEP (*.step;*.stp)

IGES (*.iges;*.igs)

Preferred Option 2

Catia (V4/5; Catia Export)

Solidworks (*.sldprt;*.sldasm)

3D solid models.

Media

Email / FTP/ EDI

CD-R disks.

Compression

Normal or compressed *.zip file; *.rar

In addition 2D toleranced drawings of each component will be required with all features and relevant stake / re-form points referenced and dimensioned.

PHASA can accept other CAD files types. Enquire for details.

CAD Data can also be sent as an e-mail attachment to sales@phasa.co.uk
